Houston Open Golf Tournament Is Looking for Volunteers

Looking for an un-fore-gettable volunteering experience? Enjoy a day of golf while networking with executives from some of our top hiring employers at the Houston Open!

If you’re free for either 12 hours total or 3 shifts between Wednesday Oct 9th and Sunday Oct 12th, the Astros Foundation would love to have your help at the tournament. For volunteering, you get:

  • Official Houston Open Golf Shirt
  • Official Houston Open Hat
  • Official Credential which allows entry into the tournament all week
  • Complimentary parking
  • Complimentary food and beverage during your scheduled volunteer shifts
  • Four (4) Good Any Day Passes for your friends and family
  • Invitation to attend the Volunteer Party on Saturday of tournament week
  • Appreciation Day Round of Golf
    • Cart fee not included
    • Must work 18 hours (minimum) to qualify

The last day to sign up is Sept 6th.

So here’s how you sign up:

  • Click the register here button in the top right hand corner of the link below.

  • Select “Standard Volunteer”
  • Fill out the form, select your top 3 committee preferences, select your availability, and upload your photo.
  • Enter “UH Student” under the organization, answer a few more questions, and then put “check” as payment (the fee gets waived for UH Students)
  • Enter code: Prk19 when you are reviewing your package
  • Once you finish registering, just submit your background check by clicking the yellow button that says “proceed to Verified Volunteers”

 

And then, BAM! You’re registered!
