We know you’ve spent the last few years protesting, taking classes, doing research, organizing, volunteering, interning, launching movements. But what happens after graduation?
At Second Day, we want to arm you with all the tools you need to build a mission-driven career.
We run two programs for college seniors based in the US. Our programs are unlike any other out there – we work with you to harness your passion for social change into tactical next steps to launch your career working in anything from sustainability to racial justice. Both our Impact Fellowship and Community Scholars Program are designed to help you better understand what careers in social impact can look like, and provide you with the resources and mentorship you need to start your own.
Our Impact Fellowship also pairs students with paid internships at a nonprofit or social enterprise. Our current Fellows are doing everything from running social media campaigns to engage Latinx/Hispanic voters to doing market research for a crowdsourcing tech start-up.
We run these programs all-year round, and we just opened up our application for this summer. Those between their junior and senior year are welcome to apply! You can apply to be a Fellow or a Scholar (or both!). The application doesn’t take longer than 30-45 minutes. Although the application is due April 26, those who apply by April 5 will be considered for more internship opportunities. You can learn more about the programs and application process on our website, at an upcoming info session, or by reaching out to our team directly.
