Our Leveraged Finance team is looking to bring you on as an Associate into our New York team.
Macquarie’s Leveraged Finance team develops solutions in all areas of debt financing, including the origination, arrangement, underwriting and syndication of leveraged buyouts and acquisitions. Macquarie has the capacity and the liquidity to provide, structure and coordinate debt financings of various sizes and types, across our global presence.
As a Leveraged Finance Associate you will be responsible in assisting in the origination and execution of Leveraged Capital Markets transactions, providing support for senior bankers in preparing analytical and transaction materials and interfacing with clients, producing financial modelling and credit analysis, and managing internal approval processes. In addition, you will coordinate the development and drafting of all marketing presentations/offering documents, providing support in negotiating legal documentation (term sheets, commitment letters and credit agreements) and ensuring compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with Macquarie or regulatory standards/policies and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues.
To be successful in this role you will have a quantitative mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills who has a proven interest in leveraged finance, financial sponsors, corporate finance and financial markets.
To be considered for this role you will have:
3+ years at an accounting firm, within the investment banking industry or Leveraged Finance experience or be an MBA graduate
Working knowledge of financial modelling, valuation, and credit analysis
An undergraduate degree in a financial discipline
