This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the successful launch of Fresenius Kabi’s immunology biosimilars portfolio, a key priority focus area for the company.
This position is heavily reliant on interacting with multiple Fresenius Kabi business functions including marketing, sales, sales training, marketing excellence, medical, payer, and regulatory. The individual must be able to successfully facilitate and complete marketing projects in a “dotted line” environment. They must be able to work independently, as well as have the ability to prioritize issues and deal with conflicting deadlines. Strong strategic thinking, analytics, and visual presentation expertise are required (Excel and PowerPoint).
Develop and maintain an understanding of immunology market, including current and future market trends, products, and competitors.
Assist in developing a strategy for existing portfolio of products
Assist in managing marketing and other agencies
Work on marketing materials ensuring compliance with brand positioning and guidelines
Maintain a thorough understanding of the future pipeline products and their characteristics and requirements, e.g. patent issues, clinical & competitive landscape, Market access and reimbursement challenges, pricing and market dynamics, barriers to entry.
Assist in leading the commercial launch execution including the development of brand positioning, pricing strategy, and product forecasting.
Actively work with business analytics team in regular forecasting cycles to derive market and product assumptions.
Assist in developing a thorough understanding of key product performance metrics
Support development and implementation of healthcare professional programs and conferences
Support interactions with KOLs and Advisory Boards.
Support the Market Unit (MU) and Business Unit (BU) in the annual strategic and brand plan process by assessing the competitive landscape, channel opportunities, and initiatives.
Ongoing interface with field, gathering feedback and providing assistance.
BA or BS required; MBA or graduate degree is preferred.
Minimum of 3-4 years’ work experience with 2-3 years of experience in the healthcare industry required.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in at least one of the following areas preferred: Specialty Pharma, Immunology, Marketing, Agency, and/or Biosimilars.
