We are looking for a full-time Business Analyst – Executive Research (factotum) that excels at research and critical thinking. They will support management, do foundational research and project manage strategic initiatives, and interface with current and potential stakeholders and partners. This person will work directly with the Chief Executive Officer and get an inside look at how an established, hyper-growth startup runs.
What you’ll do:
Do baseline research and analysis of new opportunities, competition, and markets to provide to leadership and management
Lead data wrangling initiatives to fill organizational knowledge gaps
Listen to the customer and their experiences through surveying and direct contact
Perform product assessments across sectors and quantify findings through rubrics and frameworks
Develop systems of documentation to improve internal communication and efficiency
Establish and design centralized strategic follow-up for the executive team
Serve as the executive representative and voice as needed in internal meetings
Qualifications you’ll need:
Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
Data-driven and results-oriented mindset
Outstanding spoken and written professional communication with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization
Demonstrated documentation prowess
Passion for startups and fast changing directives and problems
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Skills that will help:
Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfort managing multiple concurrent assignments with shifting priorities
Professional, personable, flexible personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment
Detail-oriented with a bias for performance
Experience in scientific research and review of primary literature
Familiarity with project management methodologies
Graduate degree (MBA, PhD) preferred
