The Division Finance Manager is a critical position supporting the Florida market within the PRUSA Commercial organization and is based in Miami, FL. This role will act as the key strategic thought-partner for the Florida Division Field Sales team and is directly involved with all aspects of the market P&L, spend management, and reporting and analysis. The incumbent will work closely with distributor finance counterparts (where available) and distributor budgets for the Florida market. This role is also the pricing lead to the market team and will own pricing program processes, manage compliance to strategy and tracks results to provide the necessary support for objective decision-making. The Division Finance Manager is also in charge of month-close activities including accruals, price support validation and payment of distributor invoices.
Major Responsibilities /Accountabilities:
Develop and implement commercial and financial plans that will deliver the Net Sales target
Manage the “market-level” checkbook – maintain accountability for market-level spend accuracy within budget (SPD, A&P, EG, LMF)
Complete forecasting and reporting: YTD variance outlook, and market / customer / brand profitability analysis
Provide analyses / inputs to enable better decision-making
Coach market teams to make profitable decisions
Analysis of status of Chains customers
Validation of customer redemptions spend
Collaborate with Finance Director and HQ Finance Team on planning for Latest Estimates and Annual Operating Plan
Track and reconcile A&P spend and provide ROI analyses (with Sales Directors, Market Activation Director and Team)
Track local market incentives (with Sales and Marketing)
Own end-to-end pricing processes, including identifying opportunities, developing programs, approving, denying or enhancing proposals, tracking results, gaining distributor alignment, and managing compliance
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Pricing Team to identify pricing opportunities and efficiencies
Perform break-even analysis on pricing and spend proposals
Compliance awareness and monitoring
Setting up Innovation and price increase structures
Month End Activities:
Validation of Price Support claims
Accruals of price support, customer redemptions, distributor payments and A&P spend
Allocation and payment of distributor invoices
Education : Requires a BS/BA degree, MBA preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience; preferred combination of financial planning and field/industry experience.
Extensive experience with business systems (Essbase, JDE, OBI, RAD) and Microsoft applications (Excel, Power Point, Word)
Pricing and commercial analytics experience a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to build great relationships and partner with key stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical skills, help identify areas of process improvement and provide solutions, able to generate insights from data
Ability to work collaboratively and to influence others
Travel: 25% of time (distributor meetings, team meetings and activities, market surveys, off-site training
