The Treasury Financial Management Team is responsible for the Budgeting/Forecasting, CCAR, monthly financial close process, analytics and reporting of the Treasury balance sheet and P&L, as well as assisting with adhoc and scenario analysis.
Specific responsibilities for this role include:
Support monthly/quarterly financial close process, including but not limited to various analytics and reporting.
Support the overall Treasury balance sheet and P&L forecast/budgeting and CCAR processes, including but not limited to creating and uploading the forecast, preparing assumption and review materials, as well as presenting to senior management.
Operate as a subject matter expert for the Treasury Financial Management Team, building strong relationships with business partners both within Treasury, Accounting, Commercial and Consumer Lines of Businesses.
Deliver adhoc analytics as requested by senior management in support of strategic initiatives and risk management.
The applicant will be expected to proactively suggest and design changes to the various processes to achieve increased accuracy, efficiencies and controls.
Ensure that all processes are documented and controlled.
4+ years experience in Treasury or Banking preferential.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Good written and oral communications/presentation skills.
Quick learner, comfortable with the concepts of financial mathematics.
Strategic thinker, capable of seeing the bigger picture.
Good time management skills, understanding the challenges around prioritization.
Education and Ceritifcations:
Bachelor’s degree; preferred in accounting, finance, business or mathematics.
MBA, CFA or FRM a bonus.
