BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 3 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to both support and positively impact the Amazon Seller Lending team.
The person in this role will be responsible for:
Producing P&Ls and financial metrics and providing variance analysis.
Managing Opex and Headcount for the Payments organization.
Coordinating across the different Payments finance teams to generate deliverables for Director and VP reviews.
Support internal stakeholders within Payments Finance with finance matters including forecasting, reporting, expense tracking, and control.
Working in conjunction with other Amazon FP&A stakeholders to drive best practices and consistent processes.
The right candidate will be self-motivated, have strong intellectual curiosity and a solid understanding of financial statements. This role requires the ability to interact confidently with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. The candidate must be able to balance competing priorities and provide meaningful suggestions and insight backed by data driven analysis. This role will also provide the opportunity to work with other teams to implement the ideas that help improve the business and its profitability.
MBA/CFA/CTP is preferred
Experience in payments or financial related industry
The ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment with competing deadlines
Superior communication skills and the ability to express complex ideas succinctly and clearly
Superior attention to detail and have the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
Familiarity with financial systems such as Cognos TM1 and SQL
