Audubon is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in our Houston, TX office. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, analysis and modeling for Audubon Field Solutions. Working closely with project managers, executives and the finance team, this position requires excellent communication skills.
Key Areas of Responsibility will include:
Performing financial analysis and modeling
Assisting with the preparation of financial plans and budgets
Analyzing, interpreting, and communicating cost and expense variances to management
Verifying cost allocations according to company procedures
Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
Produce month end reporting and dashboards for multiple business units
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:
1-3 years’ experience in accounting and/or finance in a corporate setting desired. Industry-related experience in project accounting preferred.
BS in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, with advanced credentials (MBA) preferred,
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office products, with strong Excel skills required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills and strong problem-solving abilities. Works well under pressure, handling multi-functions and tasks. The ability to work as a part of a team, communicating and working closely with project managers, executives and the finance team.
