We are looking for Financial Analysts and Senior Financial Analysts to join our Finance-FP&A Organization. We currently have multiple opportunities across our FP&A team – supporting global Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Real Estate & Site Services and Information Technology, and within the Corporate FP&A team. As an integral member of the FP&A team, our Organization’s overarching responsibilities are to provide the highest caliber of relevant financial and business information that is both insightful and actionable, enabling effective decisions-making at all levels to improve our Company’s financial performance. What you’ll be doing:
You will partner with Finance and key business leaders to strategically manage the Company’s global investments targeted at our growth initiatives and key objectives. Investments include all resources, including personnel and related capital, discretionary spending, software and hardware infrastructure tools, and licenses.
You will identify/study key cost drivers and other business factors, prepare financial analysis and modeling to recommend optimum investment alternatives, rationalize project timelines and priorities, and drive solutions with the business, accordingly.
Build and monitor metrics or key indicators against criteria for success.
Prioritize key financial data and provide key insights for concise communication of important information to influence strategic decisions.
Build deep knowledge about NVIDIA’s businesses and develop strong business partnership with the supporting organization in the Company to align on key objectives.
Support Finance’s standing goal to continuously improve the quality, efficiency and value of financial information produced, via financial tools, operational efficiencies and automation.
Partner with Finance to execute and deliver financial information relevant to the Company’s FP&A calendar and quarter-end close processes and procedures.
What we need to see:
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in Finance, with focus in business financial planning, analysis, modeling, and forecasting for a global, high-tech corporation.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Excellent analytical skills and advanced financial modeling techniques, with ability to build and convey business insight.
Experience with SAP, SAP HANA, Tableau and BPC a plus, as well as visualization tools.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
MBA or advanced degree a plus.
Strong ability to think strategically and plan effectively; with attention to details, a strong ownership ethic and intense focus on accuracy and accountability
Ability to drive continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Strong background dealing with ambiguity and deliver results in a multifaceted growth company
Strong understanding on industry technology, cost structure and market dynamics in areas directly related to NVIDIA’s products, research and development.
