Roku’s Partner Growth team ensures publishing partners meet and exceed their goals in their participation on the platform. The Growth Manager is directly responsible for being their partner’s internal advocate, helping stakeholders prioritize media, product and business initiatives. He/she will create the quarterly / annual engagement and financial plan and quarterback all revenue generating functions. He/she will work with key internal stakeholders, such as Media & Entertainment, Core Analytics, Product, Financial Planning & Analysis, Consumer Insights & Market Research, etc. to provide guidance on how to scale the partners key metrics and contextualize their performance across categories.
The ideal candidate has experience in managing to P&L targets and a background in generating revenue, preferable in a role focused on developing and executing strategic initiatives. The position requires a strong analytical background and the ability to interact with external clients at a senior level.
Specifically, this role will:
Act as the overall expert for his/her partners’ overall engagement and financial performance on Roku and will assist in negotiating partnership deals across media, inventory, and button revenue.
Create the quarterly and annual growth, strategic, and financial plans and forecasts for their partners. Provide revenue guidance to Roku’s Financial Planning & Analysis team.
Act as day-to-day partner relationship manager and act for partner success on Roku. Drive partner engagement via quarterly business reviews and other Roku-partner activities.
Gain a deep knowledge of each partner’s business and their drivers of success on Roku. Offer guidance to increase overall partner monetization including sign-up flow optimization, new customer acquisition, churn reduction, marketing ROI optimization, etc.
Identify areas within partner applications to improve overall monetization (e.g., sign-up flow tracking / optimization, billing improvements, active / passive churn reduction, etc.) and work with Roku Partner Management to A-B test, analyze results, and implement recommendations.
Experiences / Qualifications:
5+ years of experience delivering results in consultative, data-driven strategy, partnerships, and/or business development.
Strong analytical skills including previous P&L management and creating / managing to financial and operational KPIs. Previous experience at a top tier investment bank or consulting firm preferred.
Previous experience in building senior-level client relationships with a focus on business development or sales.
A background in working with data science or FP&A teams to develop business or operating metrics.
BA / BS degree. MBA preferred.
