Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of relevant professional experience
MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field
Relevant prior experience in Management Consulting, Analytics, Corporate Strategy, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, or in a high growth company
Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives which requires excellent communication and presentation skills
Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment
Proven track record of partnering effectively on cross-functional projects or teams
About the job
As a Lead on the Google Store Business and Operations team, you will partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to drive our Consumer Hardware (Pixel, Google Home, Chromecast, Nest, etc.) eCommerce business. You will be a true thought leader who can find, digest, and share industry trends and key influencers. You will lead programs across all aspects of our business, from initiatives aimed at driving growth, to enhancing our customer experience and increase operating efficiency and/or profitability. You will be passionate about delivering business results and will enjoy working with multiple external and internal partners.
In this role, you will work closely with senior executives and their management team to ensure they can efficiently and effectively run their business. You will help run operational processes and projects including support for budgeting and resource management, business planning and prioritization efforts.
To be most effective in this role, you will be an exceptional communicator with a bias to action, an agile and creative problem solver, and able to build strong partnerships across functions. You will also demonstrate the ability to get complex things done and drive organization-wide alignment.
Manage projects simultaneously, understanding project dependencies and issues and removing barriers through clear communication with the appropriate stakeholders
Identify problems and issues proactively across organizations and lead/create processes to solve them
Coordinate cross-functional project teams to structure/execute analyses required to develop recommendations
Provide clarity in ambiguous situations to ensure stakeholders are aware of risks, caveats, and opportunities
Exhibit excellent judgment on sensitive, complex, and cross-functional issues, fostering collaboration between leaders, sub-teams, the larger organizational and related functions
