Global foods manufacturer recently promoted their Production Manager and is looking to hire the next Production Manager to be promoted to the next Plant Manager
In 1-3 years this person will be promoted to an Plant Manager overseeing an entire operation
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all of operations including: managing, planning, directing, and coordinating the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing, maintenance, and quality

Directly supervise and manage 5 direct reports and up 75 indirect employees across several departments and a 3 shift operation
Strategic involvement with leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma and similar principles
Establish a culture of engagement and set the strategic direction for the team.
Monitor, exceed, and maintain production standards for efficiencies, material waste and quality.
Ensure employee productivity, facility safety, and maintenance activities while working in conjunction with other managers and supervisors
BA/BS degree required; ideally in engineering, Operations, Management or leadership; MBA, Masters, Six-Sigma certified and or PMP certifications are preferred
5+ years of leading supervisors and managers in a manufacturing environment
Must have experience managing managers in a manufacturing setting
Must have experience leading CI initiatives and turning around a struggling operation
Military veterans are a plus
Must be capable of problem solving, multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
