Role / Title
Marketing is at the core of our world and at the heart of where we make our decisions. Marketers understand the consumer… really understand the consumer. They ask questions. They find answers. As part of the Strategy & Development Team , you will be focused on the generous act of improving consumers lives with some of our company’s most iconic brands.
Your responsibilities as a Sr. Associate Brand Manager, Brand & Communications , will be inclusive of delivering maximum value to the business through strategic leadership and development of brand positioning, portfolio and design architectures, communication and advertising, and agency management for several of our company’s leading brands. You’ll lead, inspire and collaborate with both US & Global cross-functional teams of colleagues from marketing general managers, central capabilities teams, consumer insights and agency partners.
This position is best suited for someone who is a creative, actively curious, has a strong bias for action, can simplify data into clear & compelling strategies that translate into actionable decisions and plans, and has excellent communication skills. This individual must be comfortable working both horizontally and vertically across an organization to keep multiple projects and priorities moving forward to achieve agreed upon objectives & deadlines.
Key Components of the Role
Develop a deep understanding of the consumer and leverage consumer insights to drive strategy for brand positioning & portfolio architecture for our core portfolio of brands.
Lead & execute breakthrough campaigns and assets that will build brand equity, drive long-term growth, and bring new consumers to our brands.
Implement a strategic design vision for our core portfolio of brands to ensure consistency and effectiveness across every consumer facing touchpoint.
Lead cross-functional teams and agency partners to create ground-breaking, cross-channel programs to be deployed in the market.
Assist in leading the evolution and marketing strategy of the ‘Away from Home’ channel to a brand-building, experiential platform for our core portfolio of brands.
Create and foster partnerships that truly inspire a culture collaboration & creativity across internal teams and external agency partners.
*Minimum Qualifications & Enablers
3-5 years’ experience in marketing for an established CPG, Restaurant Brand, or experience on the agency side (advertising or consulting)
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
Proven track record of identifying and translating consumers insights into effective & actionable brand strategies.
Demonstrated experience in developing breakthrough communications that have driven impact on overall brand health & business performance.
Demonstrated ability to successfully influence outside of traditional reporting lines to achieved shared business objectives.
Is relentlessly curious & enthusiastic about driving new and disruptive thinking to drive results for businesses and brands.
A truly passionate team member with experience successfully inspiring & leading agencies and cross-functional teams to achieve success.
Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver in agreed upon timelines.
