Role Summary: The COVID-19 response presents an unprecedented opportunity for LPE. Characterized for years by low growth rates, LPE now faces exponential growth in demand. If captured successfully, LPE could scale to become a $1B+ BU over the next three years. LCS ( Labware, Clinical and Storage) , is a critical part of this growth.
This leader will play a key role in LCS’s go-forward portfolio strategy to capture record demand and ensure future profitability Role Elements: * Provide strategic leadership for the LCS product portfolio through cross-functional and matrix team leadership/influence (including Marketing, Operations, R&D, Finance, Quality, Service, Supply Chain) * Support the development of the value proposition across full suite of LCS products and technologies * Assess competitive landscape, market segment growth potential and contribute to the annual strategic planning process for the LCS business in alignment with broader company strategy and business processes * Regional assessment focus on EMEA / APAC ( focus on regional projects, working with regional factories, managing projects out of those factories/regions ). * Collaborate with commercial team to strengthen market penetration and reach by evaluating new (Go to market/ channel/business) models, such as E-commerce * Responsible for targeted market research, customer interactions to identify and clarify new opportunities, market share assessment, strategic and tactical priorities for channels and global sales teams. * Identify products, technologies, and capabilities needed to advance market position; perform make/buy/partner analyses to identify investment priorities, and recommend investments to the leadership team * Drive product life cycle and technology development roadmap for future investments linked to customer needs * Collaborate as part of a process team focused on scaling the LPE business unit for rapid growth Requirements: * MBA * At least 3-5 years of experience in strategy, consulting or commercial experience * Familiarity with life sciences
