Essential Job Functions
o Provide financial and business support for the Title and Close leadership team through monthly financial business reviews, variance to forecast analysis and ad hoc project as assigned by management.
o Help the business achieve their financial target and goals through process improvement efforts across the division.
o Prepare, drive and execute recommendations for action and improvement.
o Participate in the monthly forecast by preparing, reviewing and competing the forecast cycle
o Prepare and distribute the monthly financial management package to senior management
o Manage the development, dissemination, ongoing improvement and automation of key daily and monthly operational reports
o Proactively identify, track and analyze key financial and non-financial business metrics; with the goal of contributing to business decisions and driving operational results.
o Identify and drive best practices, standardization, report automation and process improvement across all aspects of planning /budgeting and financial reporting.
o Ability to build financial models from scratch when not all the necessary information is readily available.
o Partner with other business support groups like IT and Business Intelligence teams to accomplish the assignment.
FUNCTIONAL JOB COMPETENCIES
The successful candidate will have:
o Strong analytical skills
o Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy and ability to review self created work
o Excellent computer skills, especially MS Excel (Essbase)
o Proficiency in SQL and Workday a plus
o Comfortable performing ad-hoc research and analysis
o Excellent oral and written communications skills and problem-solving skills
o 5+ years of directly related experience and training
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
o CPA/CFA/MBA designation is preferred
