Job Description:

The Field Force Effectiveness (FFE) Department exists to support the US based field force (sales professionals throughout the US). FFE is made up of a group of professionals with a unifying goal of supporting our in-field team partners (sales representatives, account executives, and medical in-field team).

The Tools team creates tools for our in-field teammates to use in the execution of their responsibilities. For example, tools to track their interactions with customers and sales reports for analysis.

The Sales Operations team has multiple responsibilities such as getting pharmaceutical samples to our sales professionals to distribute to healthcare practitioners. Also, the Sales Ops team creates incentive plans and compensation plans for our sales professionals, determining sales territory sizing and alignment to most effectively use our valuable sales force.

The Commercial Compliance team ensure compliance rules are understood and adhered to.

The It’s About Time team focuses on finding and reducing administrative burden on our in-field team partners so they can spend more time in front of their customers.

The Sales Training team is a group of professionals who train our in-field teammates on various topics such as clinical for disease state, product knowledge, selling skills, sales tool usage, etc.

The FFE verticals are the conduit between FFE and our brand sales and marking teams. They work closest with the brand teams to ensure the FFE team is delivering value for our in-field team partners.

Summary of type of projects the intern can expect to work on:

The FFE team intern will be responsible for working with a project team to ensure the successful execution and implementation of the projects related to the effectiveness of our in-field teams. The project could include business tool development, data analytics, business process improvement related to our in-field teams.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Translate conceptual ideas and visions into concrete deliverables, visuals and measurable results.

  • Ensures that projects are delivered on time and meet the defined project requirements

  • Isolate scope, capture business requirements and assess feasibility in order to develop solutions to meet the true business need

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong project management skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum GPA = 3.0/4.0

  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship

  • Must be currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or MBA

  • Must be returning to university for at least one semester and graduating within one year post internship

  • Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects)
