Bachelor degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics
Master degree preferred
5+ years of B2C marketing measurement and analytics (preferably retail)
Strong knowledge of hypothesis testing and statistical analysis methodologies (t-test, z-test, ANOVA, etc), experience building statistical or machine learning models a plus
Abilities to perform statistical methodologies such as regression analysis, cluster analysis, cohort analysis, forecasting, and reporting
Experience using tools such as SQL, R, or Python to assess datasets and recommend solutions
Excellent analytic skills with the ability to use tools and data to dive deep and provide analysis consistently on performance metrics
Experience working with customer and transactional data with ability to dive deep into the data to extract insights or diagnose problems
Proficient with visualization/business intelligence tools (Microstrategy, Tableau, Qlik)
Demonstrated competency in gathering, consolidating, and reporting data across a varying systems and formats
Comprehensive understanding of marketing metrics, including digital and emerging media. Familiar with Google Analytics and knowledge of marketing mix model and multi-touch attribution a plus
Detail oriented with ability to deliver project deliverables with little supervision
Use data and analytics to identify business problems and opportunities and make actionable, data-driven recommendations
Deliver data driven strategic insights, trends, and perspective to marketing team on current media optimization and future investment opportunities
Work with marketing and finance to determine, track effectiveness of marketing effort and able to make recommendations
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting from internal and external data sources to monitor company (stores + online) performance as well as identify areas of opportunities
Analyze and extract insight from customer database to inform leadership on customer trend, shift in shopping behaviors and preferences
Craft innovative analytics presentations that allow insights to be easily understood and extracted from large amounts of data and analytical output
Provide analytical thoughts leadership and bring edge statistical knowledge to solve complex retail problems, such as labor optimization, assortment strategy, etc.
Effectively communicate with various levels of the business from front-line personnel up through executive leadership
Required to learn company policies, procedures and safety rules
