You Will Be Responsible For:
Creative, strategic approach to problem resolution. Ability to innovate and use of creative tools to develop new products and services
Work with the Design Center Designer and Manager to develop highly effective and engaging innovation labs
Work closely with Design Center Team to ensure an inspiring, creative, open and productive environment
Develop prototypes as directed by Design Center Designer and Manager
Seek out and participate in educational opportunities to learn new, creative approaches to facilitation, design thinking, prototyping, innovation, etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design is incorporated into the co-creation process as appropriate
Work independently on projects as assigned by Design Center designer and manager
What You Will Need:
High School Grad or Equivalent
New graduate or junior and senior student pursuing bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, User Experience Design, Human Centered Design, Innovation, Design Thinking, Sociology, Psychology, or like degree
The Design Intern participates in the design of innovation labs tracking projects through the various Design Thinking stages. The Design Intern leads projects as assigned by the Design Center Designer and Manager. The Design Intern will participate in building a creative, open and productive culture at the AdventHealth Design Center and will work closely with other members of the team to ensure successful projects are completed.
