The American Red Cross has a full time New Business Development Associate position to support the growth in Emerging Healthcare Markets. This position is a remote position and can based out of anywhere in the US. In this role you will be supporting the growth of Emerging Markets for our BioMedical Division (Blood Services). You can expect travel across the US up to 30% of the time once travel is opened back up at a normal flow. Qualifications – Education: Required – MBA/MHA or equivalent; or 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Discipline/Major life sciences, biochemical engineering, biology/chemistry, health systems. Professional Certifications/Licenses: Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred, not required. Experience: Minimum relevant 1-3 years healthcare, business analytics, life sciences industry required. Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, Sequel programming, and proficiency with full Microsoft Office suite of products. Responsibilities 1. Support emerging markets in identifying and pursuing relevant business and market growth opportunities. 2. Contribute to building and fostering strong relationships between the Red Cross and key industry organizations and leaders, to meet shifting and growing clinical needs. 3. Analyze data, conduct research, identify trends, conduct business plan analyses and feasibility studies specifically to identify advantageous strategic business directions for Patient Services and its relevant service lines. 5. Assist in the development of emerging markets’ business planning, contract development and negotiations. 6. Identify potential new customers, perform initial outreach efforts, assist in the development of proposals and support contract negotiations. Schedule – full time, with a variable schedule. Compensation – base in 75K+ range (possibly higher depending on experience) as well as a vehicle stipend.
