Underwrite new business personal line property/contents policies throughout the state of Texas.
Review home inspections to determine if the risk is acceptable to continue.
Review existing business at renewals to reevaluate an account for continuation.
Communicate via phone and live chat with assigned agents with any underwriting concerns.
A team work environment openly communicating with co-workers and management.
Manage a group of agents within a given geographic territory.
Analyze assigned territory and agency plants as to premium volume,
premium growth, premium mix, and profitability. Establish new agency
appointment objectives, production goals by line, by agency. Formulate
and execute a marketing strategy to meet established objectives. The
Account Executive must be capable of communicating the Company’s
underwriting and pricing philosophy, negotiate and control premium
volume, premium mix, commission, and profit sharing plans.
