JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager reports to the VP of Marketing and is responsible for planning and executing strategies in support of the annual strategic marketing plan. This position requires a strong knowledge of the full marketers’ toolkit, from upstream all the way through downstream marketing, and especially an ability to implement downstream tactics. This person should be a hands-on manager, ready to jump in and actively solve issues, collaborate across Apria, and work to build Apria’s marketing capabilities. The Marketing Manager should have solid experience with digital marketing strategy and excel at customizing multi-channel campaigns and social media.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan, especially in obstructive sleep apnea, respiratory products, and other Apria products.

Increase patient engagement with Apria through various strategic initiatives: patient education, advocacy, email campaigns, blog, Apria.com website, social media, and all other customer touchpoints.

Co-lead design of new Apria.com website together with VP Marketing by working closely with HubSpot team and design partners to ensure Apria brand is highlighted and user experience is stellar.

Lead reputation management initiatives to increase visibility of positive sentiment (surveys and reviews) from patients and HCPs and monitor online reputation of Apria.

Outline and conduct market research studies to collect customer insights and communicate those findings as well as implement programs to address unmet needs.

Organize and analyze data to inform strategic decision making by working closely with Marketing Analytics lead, recommending data collection and analytics needs, and ways to track ROI of marketing initiatives.

Work with internal and external graphic design, marketing team, field team, and others within Apria to inform development of sales enablement tools, collateral, and lead generation efforts.

Develop and deliver sales tools focused on clinical benefits, competitive strengths and differentiation, and ROI realization.

Provide strategic partnership to managed care, eCommerce, sales training, and all other business units in Apria.

Performs other duties as required.

This position manages direct reports within the department and is responsible for the performance management, hiring, and discipline of direct reports within the department.

Minimum Required Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree required.

MBA required.

Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.

In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools

HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite knowledge a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. This position also may require the occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
