In the growth plan of Atlas Copco Rental, new products and applications are playing an important role. It is your job to develop product marketing tools, and applications strategy to further grow the Oil Free Air rental market in North America. You will develop training programs on new products and applications, and take all necessary actions to maximize their success in the market.
As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will introduce & follow up new products and applications in the Rental fleet (new products also include upgrading of existing products).
Introduction of new products and applications:
- Develop & implement an introduction & communication plan.
- Have all communication material available: datasheet, PPT, leaflet, calculator tools.
- Provide trainings for the Sales, Business Development, and Key Segment teams – explain the unique renting proposition of the new product and applications.
Follow up of the products and applications, after introduction in the Rental fleet:
- Make sure we achieve the right rental rates, and a good utilization.
- Take actions where needed to make the product and applications are a success.
- Focus areas for new products and applications are: oil free air compressors & dryers, nitrogen generators & boosters, offshore products (both Rig safe & Zone 2).
- Further, you will be a main contributor for the Competence portal & Division training programs.
This person is to support with the new product launches, from supporting fleet with what are the market and application requirements, to providing product technical documentation (datasheets, brochures, presentations, videos, press releases, website content), to providing sales product trainings and technical support. This person supports communications and digital marketing with content and direction.
Experience with oil free compressors, this can be in an Engineering, Marketing or Rental/Sales environment. Experience with other equipment like offshore products, Nitrogen generators, boosters & generator sets is a plus.
Extremely effective communication skills and ability to interact with people. Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Wynne, or equivalent software.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Strong compressor knowledge is required, knowledge of Nitrogen generators & Power generators is a plus. You are fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.

Ability to travel throughout North America at least 30% of the time.
You will be located in the Atlas Copco Rental North America headquarters at Deer Park, TX.
Reporting to Maggie Rios, VP Marketing North America.
