Business Analytics MBA Intern
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Business Analytics MBA Intern, are to:

Assess competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, strategies and plans to recommend options to compete more effectively;

Evaluate the attractiveness of specific consumer segments and recommend, as appropriate, how to position brand against these consumer segments;
-
Quantify incremental sales opportunities via increased distribution in new channels;
-
Evaluate technologies/web-based initiatives to increase marketing and sales messages to customers;
-
Determine if consumer promotion programs are driving share of voice, loyalty and/or profitability;
-
Define internal processes, identify best practices, pain points and opportunities for improvement, as well as, execute projects to disseminate best practices and/or address pain points an opportunity for improvement;

Evaluate payer segmentation and recommend options to optimize.

Required Qualifications:

Current enrollment in a Master’s degree program;

Efficiency, exhibited through strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to make recommendations based on in-depth quantitative analyses, sound problem-solving and decision-making skills with demonstrated ability to identify key issues, consider customer needs, make well-support, fact-based recommendations and identify and implement appropriate actions within specific deadlines;

Ability to appropriately challenge "prevailing wisdom", ensuring decisions and assumptions are based on best available information;

Strong verbal and written communication skills, as demonstrable in oral management presentations, succinct, PowerPoint stories and layout, as well as structured syntheses and recommendations;

Programming/Coding proficiency (Python) and experience and/or understanding of other statistical tools (e.g., SAS, R).
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Pursing a master’s degree with a concentration/emphasis in Analytics, Operations Research, Management Science or Industrial Engineering program;

Previous experience in the Healthcare industry.
