Intern Supply Chain
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Intern Supply Chain, are to:
Develop technical expertise to increase efficiency and flexibility of department;
Prepare and issue reports related to supply chain function accuracy and completeness;
Identify projects and initiatives to increase efficiencies and drive resolution;
Develop and evaluate ideas, options and solutions;
Lead small to medium scope projects;
Work as a team member to assigned large projects;
Communicate directly with the Bayer supply base on supply chain needs.

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Undergraduate student, rising in Junior or Senior year as of Summer 2022, majoring in Supply Chain Management, Business Logistics, Information Technology or Industrial Engineering, OR a first year MBA student with a focus on Operations Management or Supply Chain Management;
Solid understanding of Supply Chain Management and Lean Manufacturing concepts;
Strong Excel modeling experience;
Demonstrated high performance orientation, customer focus and cross functional collaboration/teamwork skills;
Excellent written, persuasion and consensus building, listening and verbal communication skills;
Ability to travel locally.
Professional work experience in a manufacturing operation;
Ability to build relationships and partnerships within the organization;
Experience with data acquisition and statistical data analysis.
