This intern will be focused on marketing initiatives and provide support to members of the Regional and Global Marketing team responsible for executing the ARR portfolio strategy and commercial excellence activities.
The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated to grow within the organization in the future, thrives in an environment of creativity and accountability, and can perform at a high level across a wide array of assignments.
Under the leadership and direction of associates within the ARR Marketing team, this semester long internship will offer the opportunity for a student to gain experience by assisting in the execution of internal and external marketing and sales acceleration initiatives, as well as supporting marketing campaigns for specialized technologies with the surgical space.
The position also offers opportunities to participate in data gathering and analysis, develop relationships with cross-functional team members, attend company-wide meetings, and to engage in individual meetings with the leadership at BD to discuss career options in the medical device field.
This is a paid position. This is a summer internship opportunity.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Position Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Marketing team members, collaborate with cross-functional teams to support execution of the ARR portfolio strategy

Support the execution of marketing campaigns, including creation of content and deliverables

Lead the content approval process and systems
-
Work closely with Sales, R&D, Surgeon Education, and Marketing to learn the market and its needs

Create reports and presentations for the ARR Platform team

Attend and participate in team meetings

Actively encourage and support a positive culture within the ARR Platform

Special projects as assigned
Knowledge and Skills
Formal Education:
- Undergrad or masters level program (e.g. MBA) with an interest or focus in marketing or healthcare
Specialized Skills:

Excellent personal communication skills

Must have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously

Must be able to prioritize responsibilities

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment of accountability
