Job Duties:
The Web Analytics Intern assists in solving organizational problems by understanding trend data from web traffic reporting; recommending business process improvements, user experience improvements, and accessibility enhancements. Accountable for complying with all laws and regulations associated with duties and responsibilities.
Intern will assist with the following:
Understand and translate business and customer needs from Web Traffic Reporting Applications for your team’s specific product domain to accomplish business results.
Analyze and document identified trend data based on the web traffic ; business process and/or technical improvement needs while evaluating information from multiple web analytics sources and data sources
Work in partnership with other dependent technical teams when determining work and priority for your team’s domain using an understanding of the dependencies of your team’s domain as well as an understanding of the technical structure and ask questions to learn where to go for information
Required Qualifications:
Degree program(s) / Current Status: MBA Student with Information Systems focus or Junior/Senior Undergraduate in ISDS, Informatics or related fields of study.
Cumulative GPA: 3.0+ GPA preferred; minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.
Other Qualifications:
Ability to understand and use Web Analytics Platforms (e.g. Google Analytics).
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint).
Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication abilities.
Must demonstrate the ability to think analytically and present ideas professionally.
Self-motivated, adaptable to a changing work environment and team-oriented.
Undergraduates and Graduate Level students must be able to work 15 – 20 hours/week during the Spring/Fall semesters and 30 – 40 hours/week during the summer. Recent graduates must be able to work 30 – 40 hours/week year-round.
