POSITION PURPOSE :
As part of the Market Insights and Strategy team, deliver strategic and actionable primary research to shape business decisions throughout the organization. Responsible for defining survey objectives, methodology, overseeing execution, interpreting results and presenting to key stakeholders. Research crosses all lines of business and includes members, group leaders, providers, brokers and marketplace.

This position will work closely with external partners/consultants and internal business owners across the organization. Specific areas include Legal, Compliance, Health and Quality, Strategic Communications and IT.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is required. Four years of related experience may be used in lieu of a degree. MBA, degree preferred.
A minimum of two (2) years of combined experience in variety of market research, marketing, corporate strategy, branding, data/analytics or customer experience is required. Candidate must have some form of research experience, such as survey design or analysis of secondary research/reports. An MBA can substitute 2 years of working experience.
Familiar work basic statistical concepts are required.
A track history of working collaboratively with other is required. Examples include defining objectives/strategies, executing and reporting on results.
Project management skills and experience is required. Ability to work collaboratively to meet deadlines.
Advanced knowledge to include high-level proficiency in current MS Office is required.
Experience with accreditation surveys and bodies, such as CAHPS and NCQA is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation skills. Must be comfortable presenting to executive audiences.
Data analysis skills and experience utilizing and analyzing various business intelligence sources (survey data, purchased data, digital metrics, etc.) to help influence decisions and actions.
Experience in the health insurance field is preferred.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
In partnership with a Senior Analyst, plan and lead qualitative and quantitative primary research efforts for the organization.
Manage strategies to support and evolve our organizational goals, such as NPS. Some research will be conducted in-house and other research is supported by vendor partnerships.
Must be able to successfully manage timelines and budgets.
Work closely with the Senior Analyst to accomplish departmental objectives.
Assure research methodologies and design are aligned with business objectives and our corporate strategies. Must be able to design and interpret surveys that are managed internally.
Through findings and presentations share research results (tell a story) across the organization.
Responsible for fielding all CAHPS surveys. This includes project management, vendor management and presentation of results. Assure all results are presented to required quality committees. Document all activities for NCQA.
Partner with other areas, including Customer Services, Marketing and Medical Management, to identify key opportunities for improvement based on survey results.
Partner with Customer Experience (CX) leadership to support our CX vision.
