Business Development Intern

We are actively seeking a Business Development Intern responsible for supporting the process of identifying, qualifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
This position is based in Wilmington, NC and will primarily be remote, but occasional onsite meetings will be required. Preferred consideration will be given to current MBA candidates local to Wilmington, NC.
Work Description:
With guidance and training from BluePath’s executive team, the Business Development Intern will identify opportunities, pursue leads, and execute capture and proposal strategies within specified customer markets enabling BluePath to achieve its growth targets.
The ideal candidate is a well-organized self-starter with experience in identifying competitive opportunities and a jack of all trades able to learn quickly and adapt. Previous sales, recruiting or proposal writing experience is required.
Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and executing sales and capture plans.

Help build BluePath’s partner network.

Cultivate new business leads using GovCon tools like SAM and GovWin.

Conduct customer and competitive intelligence gathering.

Minimum Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship

Bachelor’s Degree

1-2 years of relevant experience
