What You’ll Do
Cisco is looking for an innovative, solution oriented, data driven individual who can assist the team in driving our key Circular Economy projects. You’ll need to work multi-functionally and cross-organizationally to help drive a successful circular economy program for all of Cisco.
You’ll support the Circular Economy program, including data analytics to stand up and measure the impact of projects, and driving new and existing projects to completion. You’ll support the team’s program managers in making and proving the business case for specific projects, creating and maintaining project metrics, and integrating circular economy practices into existing business processes.
Who You’ll Work With
When you work with us, you’ll join a highly empowered interactive team who’s passionate about our sustainability vision: what’s good for the world and good for business have never been more connected. We are a team of change agents with strong business analytical skills passionate about opportunities to be a catalyst for our customers’ transformations.
Who You Are
You are an ambitious person who has experience and real passion for sustainability, particularly circular economy. You are eager to tackle challenging projects and brainstorm transformational ideas. You will support your team in crafting business cases, maintaining metrics, and socializing project ideas across the business.
At a minimum, we expect you to have
- a MBA or other Master’s-level degree (Sustainability or Environmental-related programs are preferred but not required) or
- An undergraduate degree (BS or equivalent) preferably in business, project management, or engineering-related fields and 3+ years experience in program or project management.
You should also have experience in working with multi-functional teams and data analytics, and be highly resilient to change and solving for incomplete or not-readily-available information.
WE ARE CISCO
WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference. Here’s how we do it.
We embrace digital, and help our customers implement change in their digital businesses. Some may think we’re "old" (30 years strong!) and only about hardware, but we’re also a software company. And a security company. A blockchain company. An AI/Machine Learning company. We even invented an intuitive network that adapts, predicts, learns and protects. No other company can do what we do – you can’t put us in a box!
But "Digital Transformation" is an empty buzz phrase without a culture that allows for innovation, creativity, and yes, even failure (if you learn from it.)
Day to day, we focus on the give and take. We give our best, we give our egos a break and we give of ourselves (because giving back is built into our DNA.) We take accountability, we take aggressive steps, and we take difference to heart. Because without diversity of thought and a dedication to equality for all, there is no moving forward.
So, you have colorful hair? Don’t care. Tattoos? Show off your ink. Like polka dots? That’s cool.
