Under the general direction of the Community and Economic Development Director, the Economic Development Intern provides support related to special projects and day to day activities within the department.

Requirements The intern position participates in highly responsible economic development work, requiring excellent oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Excel required. Graphic design skills and GIS and InDesign experience highly preferred.
Undergraduate students or Graduate level coursework in Economics, Political Science, Community and Regional Planning, Public Administration, Business (marketing) or closely related fields are encouraged to apply.
This is an internship which is not permanent and is being made available for individuals seeking work experience prior to graduating from an accredited college/university.
