Junior Broker | SUGAR LAND/HOUSTON
DESCRIPTION
This individual will support a single Advisor, Barkley Peschel, by managing transactions; prospecting for new business; interacting with clients and prospects; and assisting with data collection/research. This associate possesses the ability to work independently; communicates effectively; is a self-starter with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; is not afraid to try new things and make mistakes; possesses an open eagerness to new ideas; and has solid technology skills enabling him/her to quickly learn how to use core commercial real estate specific research and prospecting tools.
This individual is an all-star looking for a career in the commercial real estate business. (S)he is drawn to and comfortable working in a 100% commission business but prefers to start out day one on a salary or salary + bonus structure while (s)he is learning the business. (S)he wants to be mentored by an industry veteran and taught how to use his/her individual gifts and talents to sell and be successful in the industry.

MARKETING & RESEARCH RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work with Marketing Assistant to prepare broker marketing materials: market surveys, proposals, tour packages, offering summaries/flyers, and marketing dashboards
· Research property owners and business contacts
· Research local market and stay up-to- date on industry trends
· Identify prospects
· Market listings to prospective buyers

TRANSACTION RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prepare contracts, listing agreements, LOI’s and RFP’s
· Schedule meetings and appointments
· Transaction management
o Coordinate and track contracts and leases
o Schedule third-party consultants
o Track critical dates
o Organize documents
o Maintain closed transaction files
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
· Texas Real Estate license (preferred but not required, but this individual will have to get his/her real estate license immediately)
· Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
· Adobe
· Google Maps/Google Earth/GIS (preferred)
This individual will start in the Sugar Land office and move with the Advisor to the Galleria office in late 2021/early 2022.
