Job Description

Conduent is seeking a sales executive to champion and promote the selling of its Healthy Communities Institute (HCI) technology and related services. This role is 100% remote and the person can be located anywhere in the US. This is a unique opportunity to blend business, health care and public health, and technology skills in one position, and contribute to building healthier communities in the U.S. Applicants must have proven sales experience and a firm knowledge of community and public health.Key Responsibilities

  • A new-business mentality to drive net new logo accounts in hospitals, public health, community collaboratives, and foundation market segments.

  • Cultivate relationships with strategic C-suite executives /decision-makers and user-level staff within health systems, public health agencies, and other stakeholders with a shared interest in improving community health.

  • Be knowledgeable of community and public health market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.

  • Meet or Exceed sales quota by effectively performing the sales function.

  • Approach with consultative sales, strategy development, and execution.

  • Achievement of Sales Plan – the development of existing and/or prospective customer relationships through adherence to an account management process.

Duties Include but Not Limited To

  • Identify and outreach to targets of Conduent HCI solutions (e.g., community health technology, data and consulting services).

  • Approach the client from solutions-based consultative selling model.

  • Build high-touch relationships with appropriate Buyer/Influencer.

  • Build and manage sales pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce.

  • Conduct sales presentations and maintain up-to-date account forecasts and sales.

  • Develop formal proposals, negotiate pricing and close deals.

  • Keep prospects informed of current and new offerings (technology, services).

  • Collaborate with colleagues on sales presentations, proposal development, marketing and outreach efforts.

Experience Required

  • Has a firm understanding of community health, public health, population health, and healthcare delivery.

  • 0-2 years of job experience.

  • Demonstrated success selling technology and consulting solutions to local agencies and grant-funded operations.

  • High attention to detail regarding proposals, contract request forms, CRM and territory account plans.

  • Ability to think strategically, understand clients’ underlying business needs, and effectively collaborate with key internal colleagues to facilitate and deliver strategies aimed to align Conduent solutions for client consideration.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the demonstrated ability to research and make decisions based on the day-to-day and supporting resolution of complex customer challenges.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual tools/apps (e.g., WebEx).

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of education and experience. MBA/MPH preferred.
