Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in posting job openings on internal and external job boards
- Review resumes and screen applicants alongside recruiters
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates
- Support new hire onboarding, including preparing offer letters, welcome packets, and orientation materials
Employee Engagement & HR Communications
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives (e.g., appreciation events, wellness programs)
- Draft internal HR communications such as newsletters, announcements, and SharePoint updates
- Support internal surveys and analyze employee feedback
HR Administration & Compliance
- Help maintain and update HR records and documentation
- Assist in HR compliance audits, including reviewing I-9 forms and employee files
- Support HRIS data entry and reporting tasks
HR Research & Project Support
- Research HR best practices and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Assist in compiling HR metrics and reports for management review
- Participate in HR team meetings and contribute ideas for HR initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Prior internship or work experience in HR, administration, or customer service (preferred but not required)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR data professionally
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Communication
