Project Coordinator- Entry level 

1.                 A Project Coordinator (PC) reports directly to the Project Manager(s) (PM) for all project work and act as support staff to the PM.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to preparation of move documents, move activities, supervision of move crews, on-site during vendor-specific work, and all additional tasks assigned by Principal, Project Managers or Senior Project Coordinators, or Office Manager.

2.                 Duties may vary based upon client’s needs and contract.

3.                 Competency:

4.                 Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 5.                 Education and/or Experience:                                           

Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Knowledge of furniture and/or floorplans is a plus.

6.                 Language Skills:                                            

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to follow verbal instructions, follow written instructions,  write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

7.                 Mathematical Skills:                                      

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

8.                 Reasoning Ability:                                         

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

9.                 Computer Skills:                                            

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office® up to and including: database software (i.e. Microsoft Access); spreadsheet software (i.e. Microsoft Excel) and word processing software including mail merge (i.e. Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint).   Knowledge of AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio is a plus.

13.               Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

14.               Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; non-hazardous fumes or airborne particles; and outside weather conditions.
