Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is part of the Global Marketing & Sales organization within Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. CIMA influences decision making with integrated, objective, and actionable insights.
Within CIMA, the Consumer Insight team drives value by developing a deep understanding of consumers and Guests that is leveraged to identify improvement opportunities and influence key strategies across the business.
A Day in the Life:Assisting with qualitative and quantitative consumer research in support of the Disney Parks & Resorts segment
Partnering with leadership to analyze secondary data sources, design research studies, interpret qualitative and quantitative data, create presentations, and share results with internal stakeholders
Running code against large datasets to create a clear story
Sample/response rate monitoring

Experience collecting and analyzing data and reporting on the results
Creation of compelling presentations and written communications

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
Proven expertise in data tools such as SPSS, SAS, Python, Dataiku, Tableau
Previous research experience
Cross functional skillset
Familiarity conducting surveys
Prior participation in the Disney College Program
Current junior, senior or graduate level student working toward (or recently graduated with) a degree in Marketing, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Statistics, Business or other related quantitative field
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Must provide full work availability
All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
Must provide own transportation to/from work
Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
This internship will be working remotely, however, priority will be given to local candidates as it is expected there may be opportunities to work within the office during your internship.
