Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is part of the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) segment of The Walt Disney Company. CIMA influences data-driven and consumer-centric decision making with integrated, objective, and actionable insights.
Within CIMA, the Sales Analytics & Insights (SAI) team assesses and analyzes multi-faceted datasets for the Sales organization to inform strategy, understand performance, optimize channel distribution, and build client/Cast incentives.
A Day in the Life:Develop knowledge of sales-related data, channel performance, and business impacts
Provide analysis of large datasets, learning to uncover meaningful insights in key performance indicators to influence decisions
Partner proactively with stakeholders within the SAI team, CIMA organization, Sales organization, and other key lines of business in order to compile, analyze and validate processes and data
What You Bring to the Role…Curiosity and analytical/strategic problem solving skills
Experience collecting and analyzing data and reporting on the results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A sharp attention to detail
A strong sense of responsibility, ownership and pride in delivering quality results
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
The ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Experience with data visualization using tools such as Tableau, Excel, etc.
Proficiency in Python or SQL
General knowledge of tourism industry sales processes
Junior or Senior currently pursuing (or recently graduated within 6 months with) a Bachelor’s degree in General Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or other related analytical/business field
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Currently pursuing (or recently graduated within 6 months with) a Master’s degree in General Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or other related analytical/business field
Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Must provide full work availability
All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
Must provide own transportation to/from work
Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
