Tax Client Manager Public Accounting
DRDA, LLC is a diverse and fast-growing CPA and Management Advisory firm based in
Houston, Texas but serving nationally and internationally. DRDA is growing at twice the

are looking for a Tax Manager to join our Leadership team to help implement our vision of
Firm growth.

The ideal candidate will oversee all tax related decisions and activities in the organization. You
will help us stay tax-compliant and up to date on new tax laws.
Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Development
• Lead in the development and implementation of tax processing procedures.
• Lead in the development and implementation of project management processes and tools.
• Direct/delegate projects with/to staff.
2. Coordination & Collaboration
• Coordinate with IT administrator in applying technical and software needs as related to
accounting/tax processes and project management.
• Coordinate with Tax administrator regarding filing deadlines and project assignments.
• Coordinate with Firm Administrator/Controller with staff and invoicing issues.
• Coordinate with partners regarding staff and Firm matters.
3. Supervision & Staff Management
• Supervise staff and seniors assigned to projects and manage time and project completion
within budget.
• Review accounting and tax projects.
• Monitor compliance with Firm quality control procedures.
4. Client & Financial Management
• Prepare invoices for clients as needed.
• Assist with collections as needed.
• Sign tax returns.
5. Performance & Compliance
• Meet utilization and realization standards personally.
6. Proactive Planning & Trusted Advisor
• Develop a personalized plan and strategies for the client through a thorough
understanding of the clients business, goals, unique dynamics and entrepreneurial
background.
• Establish a communication framework and rhythm to guide the entrepreneur through
business and personal related decisions.
7. Client Base Management
• Oversee a portfolio of family owned businesses, ensuring sound understanding of the
clients journey and alignment with their business, financial and personal goals.
• Provide insight into planning options that can be practically implemented into their
business operations and personal planning.
8. DRDA Team Management
• Lead, inspire and grow DRDA Team members so that we all are empowered to grow
personally, professionally and financially as a member of the DRDA Team.
• Develop and implement productivity and efficiency enhancements that allow our Firm to
better serve the client with improved efficiency internally.
Qualifications
• CPA License or EA license current and in good standing
• Seven or more years of related experience
• Demonstrate ability to plan and organize projects
