End Citizens United//Let America Vote’s Action Fund team is seeking a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual for our Spring Advocacy Virtual Internship.
Job Summary: The Virtual Advocacy Intern will assist the Action Fund team with responsibilities including legislation tracking, drafting memorandums on Representatives and Senators, participating in preparation for meetings and committee hearings, and providing administrative support to the Action Fund team. The intern will be a vital part of the Action Fund team’s work in the new 117th Congress. Ideal candidates are self-starters with a strong interest in progressive legislation and the issues of government and voting rights reforms. A base knowledge of the legislative process is preferred.
Interns will have a unique opportunity to learn about governmental affairs, Democratic politics and the issues of reform and voting rights while honing their professional development skills. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to interact with and receive professional guidance from all members of ECU//LAV and gain strong experience in progressive politics.
Reports to: Action Fund Coordinator
