Qualifications

Qualifications

Exelon is currently seeking highly motivated students for summer
internships. Paid internships will last approximately 10 weeks between June and
August 2021. Interns will work on projects designed to help them gain
real-world, hands-on experience working independently under an assigned
supervisor.

We
are seeking students who meet the following criteria:

  • ? ?Currently enrolled
    in Bachelor’s or Master’s program

  • ? ?Minimum GPA: Cumulative
    2.8/Major 3.0

  • ? ?A track record of
    outstanding academic performance

  • ? ?Eagerness to contribute
    in a team-oriented environment

  • ? ?Ability to work
    creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • ? ?Excellent leadership,
    communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills?

UX/UI Design Intern Specifications

We are looking for someone with a good
foundation of the following skills who want to develop them while gaining
hands-on experience!

  • Exceptional design intuition, with strong presentation and design
    communication skills

  • Foundational understanding and eagerness to gain hands-on
    experience throughout the process, from user research to developing prototypes
    and collaborating on implementation

  • Passion to create smart, functional, and inclusively usable
    designs for all users

  • Ability to take input, critique, and advice as a member of our
    cross-functional team, partnering with users, product owners, business
    analysts, and development teams to deliver product value in a fast-paced
    environment

  • Experience with prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative
    Suite, Figma, and/or other similar tools

  • Excellent collaboration skills with a curious mind, and attention
    to detail

  • Communication skills and team spirit

  • Portfolio showcasing your design work and process

  • Drive and develop
    business valuations for Exelorate Efficiency Innovation projects that
    cross our tech domains (AI, Robots, Drones, Nanomaterials, Digital Worker,
    IoT). Investigate the drivers of potential business value and develop modeling
    to project the savings/benefits for the operating company.

  • Participate and
    potentially lead an innovation project from source to pilot for one of our
