Nature of Assignments
ExxonMobil’s financial organization offers a number of Financial/Business Analysis and Business Controls related internships for exceptional candidates each year. Interns will gain exposure to our business and learn about our company and culture, while working on real life projects. Key objectives of the intern assignments are to test analytical skills along with leadership and teamwork abilities while providing exposure to our global operations.

Our senior financial management directly oversees the internship program and has a high level of interaction with interns throughout the summer. Internship activities include networking events with interns from other disciplines and potential trips to operating facilities. Intern assignments typically last about 3 months commencing in the May/June timeframe.
Required Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Knowledge
- Candidates must be within one year of graduation from current degree to be considered
- Bachelors candidate with proficiency in relevant areas, such as financial analysis, accounting, corporate finance, data analytics, international business
- Proven record of initiative, leadership and academic achievement
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Geographic flexibility
