Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is currently seeking an ER&D Consolidation Analyst to work at our Headquarters and Technical Center in Auburn Hills, MI. The ER&D Consolidation Analyst is responsible for the consolidation, financial reporting, and analysis of cost associated with activities within the extended NAFTA Engineering functions (including Vehicle, Powertrain, Product Design Office, and Vehicle Safety & Regulatory Compliance) – annual spend across these areas is in excess of $2 billion.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Coordination and communication of budgets and monthly forecasts

  • Coordinating development and communication of all external requests to the department, including those from FPA, Accounting, and Engineering Operations

  • Coordination of all compliance activities within group, including SOX as well as internal accounting controls

Additionally, this position will be a key contributor relative to leading, developing, and implementing a number of process improvements that will be aimed at improving the transparency of the analysis of ER&D spending, both in NAFTA and globally.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance or Accounting OR an MBA focused on Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum of 18 months of relevant finance experience

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite products, SAP, and Hyperion Essbase

  • An understanding of fundamental accounting principles

  • Organized, self-starter, with strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to develop alternatives and recommendations to address issues where they are not immediately clear

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to change, including prioritization of assignments

  • Results-oriented, possessing the ability to plan, develop, implement and measure results

  • Work with all levels of management within Finance and Engineering Operations
