POSITION SUMMARY: The HR Generalist is responsible for the processing and handling of various HR functions directly related to GRS and RHS employee support, throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Supports and responds to employees’ inquiries in regards to various HR-related topics, such as
benefits, leaves of absence, workers comp, policies and procedures, benefit time accruals, etc. via
the HR Solution Center phone system or Mojo ticketing system.
Tracks, monitors and manages all aspects of employee leaves of absence.
Coordinates worker’s compensation claims.
Processes internal transfers, status changes, and promotions. Ensures that the appropriate
documentation is completed and all state-specific and/or job-specific requirements are met.
Assists with responding to requests for employee personnel file documents.
Reviews and adjudicates background checks in partnership with the HR Manager.
Assists in communications to field staff and corporate staff, such as benefits open enrollment.
Prepares and processes Peer Donation Requests.
Responsible for all other assigned projects or tasks per supervisor.
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:A Bachelors degree is required. Preferably in HR, healthcare or business. At least two years of HR experience is required.
