Marketing Internship Opportunity

Goosehead Insurance – Tom Stinson franchise is looking for a qualified intern to join our agency marketing team. Our agency produces content for real estate and financial professionals who work for major companies in the Houston area and seeks an intern who can participate in various stages of print and online marketing campaigns.

This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and distribution of print and digital marketing materials
Assist in the assessment of marketing and sales strategy and analysis
Study the needs of buyers, influencers, and partners
Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials
Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
Prepare presentations
Provide support to social media efforts
Monitor social media for trending topics to utilize on social media channels
Maintain tracking report of public relations activity

Requirements

Houston based MBA or MS student (emphasis in Marketing or Communications favorable)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of curiosity and problem solving skills
Driven, hard-working, and coachable
Broad software knowledge a major plus – we work with dozens
