As a product manager, you’ll be responsible for demonstrating product management skills for an assigned state(s) or product line. While working in close collaboration with sales, R&D and claims partners, you’ll manage product development, rate revision, and pricing. With a goal of developing a clear vision, you will design and execute practical action plans to accomplish the vision.
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Math/Actuarial Science or related field of study (e.g. Statistics) or a bachelor’s degree and experience analyzing and interpreting quantitative data to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on that data
- Minimum of 4 years property casualty insurance experience or related experience (e.g. analytical work in a professional setting)
Preferred skills
- MBA preferred
- 5-7 years of business experience with demonstrated track record of business decision-making and proven leadership
- In-depth knowledge of policies and systems to solve business problems
- Superior problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills with proven ability to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to analyze, develop and manage strategies to penetrate competitor markets
