Mattress Firm is seeking an HR Generalist to join their incredible Human Resources team. This role could either be remote or in-person at their world-famous ‘Bedquarters’ in Houston.
The Director of Human Resources is seeking someone that:
-Has strong tech skills especially in PowerPoint and Excel.
-Is comfortable presenting to Senior Leaders and can do so independently.
-While this role involves client-facing work with the Executives, there is also a fair amount of admin work as there is for all of us.
-Can quickly learn to handle Corporate Employee Relations cases, mediating conversations to resolution.
-Has a true passion for HR as this role could lead to an HRBP position
-If the candidate has an HR certification, awesome! If not, and they are interested in having one, Mattress Firm can help with this.

Pay during trial period: $24.00/hour
Post Intern salary: Around $60-65K
You will start off as a paid intern at GradReach (Intern2Hire). The listed pay rate is the pay promised for the first 10-12 weeks (on average) of employment until conversion takes place. Conversion occurs when a company is ready for you to work for them as a permanent/long-term employee. Once conversion takes place, you will be paid at a higher rate and no longer employed by GradReach.
