Seeking summer intern candidates to perform meaningful assignments in our IT organization and obtain a basic understanding of our business, our international organization and information systems. Your development includes familiarity with our core areas of asset management, infrastructure, architecture, applications support, financial accounting, and management support. An internship in Information Technology at Halliburton offers meaningful work experience in one or more IT focus areas, as well as the opportunity to develop skills in planning, communication, delivery of IT services, problem solving, project management, and leadership.
The Halliburton IT internship experience will include:
Assignment to one or more projects or functional teams as a valued contributor. Your ideas, motivation, and outsider perspective can have a positive impact on meeting business objectives.
Work with your professional mentor to create a plan for a major project or series of smaller projects. This work will define the bulk of your internship and determine the type of skills you develop.
Exposure to an IT Leadership team committed to a positive intern experience. You will present your project(s) to the leadership team throughout the intern period.
Apply organizational abilities, time management, and basic computing skills to delivering high-quality assignments, including presentations, spreadsheets, internal communications, project plans, and other solutions.
Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States, or those needing visa sponsorship presently or in the future, will not be considered.

GPA Requirement: 3.0
Majors: MIS, Business, International Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering.
