HPE’s Marketing digital demand and insights team is looking for an experienced, passionate, driven data analyst and who will apply a logical, systematic approach to problem-solving using mathematical and statistical techniques. Use innovative/quantitative analytical approaches to identify insights and make actionable recommendations to help drive growth. In this role, you will be exposed to and partner with members marketing operations, and data management teams to ensure we are capturing and surfacing the most meaningful data and insights to make optimal business decisions. You will also collaborate with our tools partners to build self-service reports and BI dashboards.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with large data sets, deep-dive data analysis including experience extracting and manipulating data using queries (SQL) and Regression analysis to develop predictive models. She/he should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to work cross-organizationally. A keen sense of learning, ownership and drive is required to succeed.
Contribute to the development and growth of the Customer Data Platform, supporting the research and delivery of data and analytics based solutions to support growth initiatives
Assist in management of complex data flows, monitor and update systems as necessary.
Develop, prototype and test data with business teams while understanding the use cases for information & operational data
Support visualization of the model’s insights and design for a self-service user experience on Power BI/Qlik Sense dashboards
Design, test interfaces, enhancements and business analytic reporting solutions
Work with team members from other business functional and technology areas to develop effective analytics solutions for marketing campaigns, master data management.
Prepare documentation including Requirements and Design documents, Configuration Workbooks, Test Cases other materials as required through the project lifecycle.
Support marketing campaigns, data health initiatives and personalization to accelerate customer journey.
Translate ambiguous business requirements into complex analyses and actionable insights.
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree with a specialty/major in Data Analytics, Quantitative Management required.
Expertise in handling large data sets, deep-dive data analysis and real-time data analytics.
Experience extracting and manipulating data using queries (SQL) and Regression analysis to develop predictive models.
10+ years of total applied experience in data analytics with emphasis on one or more of the following areas: Enterprise data analytics in marketing operations, large scale data engineering, ETL process and master data management interfaces, hands one experience in SQL, no-SQL databases, Vertica, Hadoop, and MongoDB.
High degree of expertise and applied experience with complex SQL quesries is a must have.
Minimum 2 yrs applied experience using data science methodologies of analytics tools and processes (ex. R, Hive, Python).
Proficient in utilizing Business Intelligence platforms and data visualization (ex. Power BI, Qlik Sense).
Experience with analytical and data tools like Talend, Snaplogic, Rapidminer, and Alteryx.
Minimum of 2 yrs applied experience in large scale data porting, data integration, data exchange management, and data modeling skills.
Thorough understanding of digital marketing methodologies, systems and processes in an enterprise environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must be capable of responding to a fast-paced environment, and have a problem-solver mindset.
Excited to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies relating to business intelligence and data analysis for marketing
