The OEM Business Unit within the Compute Business Group is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to work with regional Geo sales teams to identify new OEM opportunities across North America and to develop existing accounts. We leverage the entire HPE product and solutions portfolio to enable OEM’s to build their solution on HPE’s best in class infrastructure platforms for resell to their end customers. This position requires experience in Customer Relationship Management as well as engagement with Business and Technical leaders at the customer and within HPE. This is a customer facing role, but not a sales position

Work with North America sales teams to focus on net new business, expanding and developing existing accounts, and new account acquisition
Review market research to identify vertical markets and customer segments to explore for new business.
Lead and contribute to RFP responses and contract negotiations
Lead cross-functional efforts as necessary to enable OEM business opportunities
Create, execute, and track regional account opportunities and action plans
Operate across organizations by collaborating with leaders at all levels between Sales, Product Management, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, and Support both at HPE and Customer
Deliver presentations to customer executives
Continuously seek innovation to enable HPE success in highly competitive customer pursuits including identifying new product offerings possibilities.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to effectively engage and build relationships with customers and partners while understanding their priorities
Proven team leader with the ability to build momentum and buy in from team members and other functional areas within HPE and the customer
Ability to determine Urgent vs Important and prioritize workload for maximum impact.

Education and Experience:
Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent preferred
5 years’ experience in technology sector with business development and/ or sales experience preferred
Experience working in sales environments
