Completion of Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university required.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in recruitment and talent acquisition preferred.
Basic knowledge of employment practices, recruiting and selection skills.
Working knowledge of company Human Resources and recruitment systems, company intranet and other departmental or company systems applicable to position.
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities in a high volume, high energy environment.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to create and maintain solid working relationships within the department and across the organization.
Willingness to work as a team member in order to accomplish established department goals.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a data-driven environment.
Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines.
Ability to work extended hours as may be required in order to meet established or last-minutes deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction to complete assigned work and individual goals.
Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information.
Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications
Manages and coordinates organization-wide efforts to ensure that recruitment and talent acquisition programs are developed and managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives.
This position will oversee full life cycle recruitment.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Job Function (duties and responsibilities):
Perform as the lead representative for recruitment and talent acquisition activities in the Human Resources department, with duties to include, but not be limited to:
Manage and execute the recruiting process for the organization with duties to include, but not be limited to:
Meeting with the hiring manager to establish staff needs,
Identifying key skills required for position to be applied to structured interview process, creation or update of job description,
Posting of job on Club employment website and/or working with other employment staffing personnel,
Scheduling and conducting phone and in-person interviews,
Producing job offer documentation.
Serve as the business partner with hiring managers and HR Generalists to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction.
Develop effective relationships within the organization and hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.
Develop and implement innovative and creative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
Create and maintain an environment of equal opportunity employment, diversity, inclusion and competitive advantage in support of the organization’s diversity and inclusion strategic plan.
Coordinate, facilitate, and participate in job fair and career events.
Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire, cost-per-hire).
Strengthen and expand organizational recruitment partnerships with colleges, universities and community partners in support of the organization’s brand and inclusive hiring strategy.
Participate, as needed, in the onboarding process of designated full-time employees making sure that all onboarding activities have been completed by designated parties in order to maintain individual task and overall process deadlines.
Human Resources Information and Recruiting System – Achieve high level of proficiency in navigation of the human resources information system in order to effectively conduct recruiting and onboarding tasks and to develop reports as required.
Assist Vice President, Human Resources and another departmental teammates as necessary or as assigned in the planning and execution of all department special projects or events (e.g., open enrollment, Gameday Camp, employee meetings, training sessions, college visits, job fairs).
Provide exceptional internal and external customer service by providing timely, accurate information in response to HR-related inquiries and/or requests.
Actively participate in communicating, monitoring and administering all federal and state laws and Club and League policies.
Assist as necessary in the preparation of the annual departmental budget.
Maintain confidentiality of all employment information and comply with all mandated privacy requirements.
Perform various other tasks as may be assigned from time to time by the Vice President, Human Resources.
Subject to reasonable accommodations, position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with departmental and other Club teammates; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.
Travel Requirements: Occasional local travel as may be necessary to provide the highest level of Human Resources service to all employees.
